Not every alert needs to wake up the entire team. Route by alert severity or source system:
- P1 / SEV-1: all on-call engineers, NOC, and IT management
- Disk threshold warning: storage team only
- Certificate expiry: infrastructure lead
See that the alert landed
Monitoring tells you a condition is breached. Notifiier tells you the engineer saw it. Per-recipient delivery status confirms the desktop notification reached its target and was opened.
If the engineer's machine is offline at the time of the alert, Notifiier queues it and delivers it the moment connectivity resumes.
